Stuart Little 2 is pretty good for the kids, but some of the lines are eye-rollers for adults. Once again, don't expect the movie to have much from the book. There's a bird named Margalo who Stuart befriends, and, well, that's about where the similarities end. Jonathan Lipnicki is starting to look more like Peter Billingsley circa A Christmas Story, which is not a good thing.

Austin Powers in Goldmember at least is better than its immediate predecessor, but falls back on most of the cheap laughs it got in the last couple of editions. At least the ending is somewhat of a surprise. Lots of celebrity cameos, so keep your eyes open.

The Mets were rained out tonight, but since the Dodgers, Giants, Reds, and Astros all lost, they picked up a half-game on everybody. Not bad.

I was planning on writing a bit about the Cincinnati Reds' day yesterday, but I'll have to save it for a day or two -- too tired.
