. Written trading card backs (NBA basketball and Disney).
2. Had a brief article about me in The National Enquirer (when I created a website to save Regis' version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire from being cancelled).
3. Had the priest forget to give us the vows when Karen and I got married.
4. Shook hands with Rudy Giuliani (he was at a subway stop during his first campaign for mayor).
5. Walked by Tom Hanks and Penny Marshall while they were filming Big without noticing them.
6. Went to grade school with one of the Bad News Bears. (He now is a minister/preacher.)
7. Went to high school with Enron player Andrew Fastow.
8. Got an autograph from Howard Cosell.
9. Spent an evening playing volleyball in the back yard and indoor court of someone making close to $2 million a year (thank you, Primerica).
10. Was name-checked in a book about throwing up. (In the acknowledgments by editorial request, a.k.a. "If I'm going down, I'm taking everyone with me.")
